Introduction

Metronome Lite ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application on iOS.

Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. Metronome Lite does not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, location, contacts, or any other personally identifiable information. The app does not use the camera, microphone, photo library, or any other device hardware beyond audio output and haptic feedback.

Data Storage

All app preferences are stored locally on your device only, using Apple's standard UserDefaults API. This data never leaves your device. Preferences stored locally include:

In-App Purchases

Metronome Lite offers an optional one-time in-app purchase ("Metronome Lite Pro") to unlock unlimited weekly playback. This purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, Apple ID, or any purchase history beyond the fact that the current device has unlocked the Pro entitlement.

Analytics and Tracking

We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not collect usage data, crash reports, device identifiers, or any telemetry. We do not share data with third parties because we have no data to share.

Network Access

Metronome Lite does not make network requests of its own. The only network activity is Apple's StoreKit framework communicating with Apple's servers to process in-app purchases and verify entitlements, which is entirely handled by Apple.

Children's Privacy

The app is suitable for all ages and does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) by virtue of collecting no data at all.

Your Rights

Because we do not collect any personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. To remove all locally stored preferences, simply uninstall the app from your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
