By downloading, installing, or using Metronome Lite ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement for apps distributed through the App Store. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
Metronome Lite is a musical practice tool that produces a periodic audible click and optional haptic pulse at a user-chosen tempo and time signature. The App is provided as-is for personal, non-commercial practice use.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on any Apple device you own or control, subject to Apple's Usage Rules in the App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, distribute, sublicense, or create derivative works from the App or any part of it.
The App offers an optional one-time in-app purchase ("Metronome Lite Pro") which unlocks unlimited weekly playback. Important points:
Users who have not purchased Metronome Lite Pro receive a soft weekly playback allowance. Once the allowance is exceeded within the current calendar week, the App displays the upgrade paywall on the next playback start. Playback itself continues to function. The weekly counter resets automatically at the start of each week and is not transmitted off your device.
All content in the App — including source code, icons, sound samples, user interface, and copy — is owned by the developer and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not use any of these assets outside the App without prior written permission.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including (but not limited to) implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any specific use. Timing precision is best-effort and depends on your device and iOS version.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the App is limited to the amount you paid for Metronome Lite Pro, if any.
We may update, modify, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time without prior notice. Previously purchased Pro entitlements remain restorable through Apple's App Store infrastructure.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the developer resides, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the App will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer-protection law entitles you to pursue a claim in your place of residence.
